From 4-8 July Inhalation Sciences welcomed Graduate Research Assistant Ahmed Alobaida from Texas Tech University’s Health Sciences Center to its labs in Stockholm, Sweden.

During his five-day visit Ahmed received training in using all Ahmed Texas 2modules of PreciseInhale – from formulation all the way through to in vitro testing on DissolvIt.

His verdict? “It was an amazing machine. It was very useful for our research. PreciseInhale really fills the gap in R&D between formulation and dissolution. With PreciseInhale we can really use the drug exactly as it is intended to be used.”

The team’s expertise and spirit of cooperation impressed Ahmed: “This is a great team. Everybody was very helpful. The ISAB team is really like a family. And working with founder Per Gerde himself was amazing. He knows so much, but he is so humble and easy-going. It really was a great visit.”

Launched in 1969 as Texas Tech University School of Medicine, today Texas Tech University’s Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is a seven-school university located in Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas/Fort Worth, El Paso, Lubbock, Midland and Odessa.
