The company provides fee-for-service contract research for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and other industrial clients. Inhalation Sciences offers a complete battery of standard study designs that meet regulatory guidelines, as well as customized study designs to meet a sponsor's special needs. The studies are run in compliance with the spirit of GLP.

We offer a comprehensive package to map out the pharmacokinetics- and dynamics of new drugs in the lung at a very early stage in the development process. The objective is to be able to predict and validate the deposition, absorption, metabolism, and mechanism of action following inhalation of a drug in the human lung.

The Company has a testing system under development that allows for different inhaler devices in the market place to be incorporated into our preclinical exposure system and tested for PK.

This will enable device manufactures and pharmaceutical companies to develop early predictive PK data both for new device designs and for different pharmaceutical formulations in a manner that closely mimics the clinical situation. Also, device manufacturers can benchmark their inhalers and formulations against other manufacturers in the market place using the DustGun System as a reference.

The services are performed in modern and well-equipped service laboratories located at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. The scientific staff at Inhalation Sciences AB consists of highly qualified and experienced scientists.
